Brain Travel From Coronaville

The best thing about my job is I get to work with my former students on creative projects. Here are just a few ideas we produced this year.

                               Holocaust Memorial Day.

February. Attacks on Jewish people are rising across Europe. Dan and I wrote a campaign for the Holocaust Memorial Day.

                             Celeborona Sticks.

March, Social distancing didn't come easy. I had to keep the panting joggers away. So, I went out walking with Britney Spears. Big help from top designer Alex Binding.

England NHS football and rugby shirts.

April. With the postponement of the Euros fans needed a England shirt to wear while they watched re runs of previous tournaments on the BBC.

The England Football Team shirt was presented  to the FA.
The idea was created with Dan Scott.

NHS Blue Rose.

The England NHS  Blue Rose rugby shirt was intended to be worn for the first Autumn International, post lockdown. This shirt was presented to the Rugby Union by VCCP.

Teletubbies don't get social distancing.

                                                  Memes

April. A couple of memes with help from Watford graduate Alex Binding.  Easter Sunday. What would happen if Jesus returned while we are all in lockdown?

And I couldn't buy a loo roll.....

Post Office poster.

May. My local post office was struggling to keep their customers 2m apart. I designed these window stickers which were used locally.  Great graphic help by Alex Binding.

Winnie Rocks.

To discourage social gatherings on VE Day I used the best person I could think of.
Winston Churchill..
Guitar borrowed from Noel Gallagher. (Noel, I will return your guitar. Please don't send your brother around to get it back.)
Art direction by Alex Binding.

October: John Lennon's 80th birthday.

Art directed by River Borromeo.

Escape from Watford.

October. With a crammed college full of hugging teenagers and advertising agencies empty I decided to write some ads with Dan Scott to see if we could relocate the course.
Havas answered the call. The work was also featured in an article by Campaign Magazine.

                               Black Friday Homeless Offer.

December. With the UK rushing to snap up bargains on Black Friday I ran this tactical idea to encourage happy savers to donate to St Mungo's Homeless Charity.

Ho. Ho. Hope you like them.

December.  We all needed a laugh. The Covid Carol was sung by Nick Lee, Havas and was edited by neighbour, Webber Tom. Also, included is a film we did for our annual Channel 4 comedy project.

                                                   Jesus.

                                           A Covid Carol.

                                                             Wise Men Maybe.
